Prof. Muhammad Zaheer Quindeel

Mr. Muhammad Zaheer Qandeel, former Head of the Urdu Department at Cadet College Hasan Abdal, has over thirty-nine years of experience in the field of education. Students in his classes have consistently achieved outstanding success in Matriculation, Intermediate, O-Level, and A-Level examinations.

He has a profound command of the Urdu language, grammar, linguistics, orthography (spelling), and pronunciation. He is not only prominent and well-recognized in the education sector but also holds a distinguished position in the fields of poetry, literature, and research. His globally acclaimed book, "Maarka-e-Budhh Bair Ka Hero" (The Hero of the Battle of Budhh Bair), which is the biography and account of martyrdom of Captain Esfandiyar Shaheed, has been published twelve times so far, with each edition consisting of 1,000 copies.

Thus, over 12,000 copies have reached readers and enthusiasts. The Government of Punjab and the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have also issued directives to make this book available in all public libraries. For his academic and literary services, he has been honored with two gold medals, numerous awards, and countless certificates by various governmental and non-governmental institutions and organizations.

He also served as the editor of the Cadet College Hasan Abdal magazine, "Abdalian," for 22 consecutive years. Additionally, his responsibilities included editing the MRF Degree Science College magazine, "Sahab. "At Cadet College Hasan Abdal, he has held leadership responsibilities for the Geo Modeling Club, Variety Programs, Dramatic Club, Debating Society, Music Club, Filmmaking Society, and the Literature and Performing Arts Society.

He has also served his duties as the House Master of Iqbal Wing.
